    Who we are?

    For BJJ athletes, by BJJ athletes. Eat 2 fight is a online BJJ community dedicated to performance through movement, strength, conditioning, and nutrition. BJJ is an amazing sport that checks the boxes for self discipline, overcoming obstacles, as well as physical and mental growth. But there’s a skill set of movement and nutrition to learn outside the Mats, that could not only give you a performance edge on competition but also keep you healthy and insure longevity and success with the sport in more ways than just competition. All sports have an off season to heal and prepare for the next, except for BJJ. Through tested and trialed templates, tracking, and coaching Eat2Fight’s goal is to balance training and competition peaking with weight management and nutritional lifestyle habits. Helping 1500 BJJ athletes step on the competition mats as a stronger, faster, healthier version of themselves.

    • “I’ve known Jarret Jones since 2010 when I was living in Dallas-TX, and he would come down to train. Back then Jarret was still a avid MMA fighter and Jiu-Jitsu competitor. Once I moved to Midland-TX in 2012, we started to do some camps together, always with great performance results, but it wasn’t consistent until 2018 when I was dealing with a lot injuries from competing in high-level since I was 10 years old, that I reached out to him to work full time as his athlete.

      I reached out to him, because at 38, I just wanted to be healthy to be able to enjoy my family and Jiu-Jitsu. The thing is that, once it wasn’t a camp to get ready for a competition anymore, Jarret was able to come together with all his knowledge in Strength & Conditioning + Health Fitness, and the improvement of my health got me back to enjoy high intensity training, and the process of preparing for a competition once again.

      For the last 4 years of my life, despite getting older (I’m 42 now), it’s the healthier version of me in a long time, and looking back at those 4 years, it shows also on my competition results.

      And the most important thing: my journey with Jarret inspired others to follow the same path. Now, lot of my Jiu-Jitsu athletes, work with Jarret on their Strength & Conditioning, and also Nutrition programs.

      I really feel blessed to have our paths crossed, because it’s a lifestyle that we do together.

I made weight much more easily than I had for the previous years comps. I year ago, I pretty much didn’t eat or hydrate very well trying to make weight.
